As an Account Manager at Meltwater, reporting to the Sales Director, you will be at the forefront of managing, renewing, and driving growth for accounts that have transitioned from the Client Acquisition team. Your role will primarily focus on long-term growth while maintaining responsibility for renewals, with support from the Client Success and Renewals teams.
What You'll Do:
Responsible for the management, renewal, and growth of accounts following the transition from the Client Acquisition team.
Focus on driving growth in the long term while maintaining responsibility for renewals, with support from the Client Success and Renewals teams.
Develop account plans and strategies to maximize customer retention and drive growth within the accounts and ensure long-term success.
Identify and drive expansion opportunities to grow accounts, including upselling new packages or cross-selling to other teams at the client.
Work with the Client Success team to drive engagement and solution usage, contributing to customer retention.
Collaborate with Renewals Representatives to drive account retention and push through pricing uplift.
Manage account relationships and communication to drive engagement and customer satisfaction.
Monitor customer usage and adoption to drive strong renewals and product expansion.
Complete proactive sales processes to defend against competitive takeouts at renewal.
What You'll Bring:
Proven experience in account management, growth, and renewals, preferably in the software or SaaS industry. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in account management.
Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities, with a focus on customer retention and growth.
Ability to develop effective account plans and strategies aligned with customer goals.
Proactive approach to identifying and driving expansion opportunities within accounts.
Collaboration skills to work with the Client Success and Renewals teams for mutual success.
Excellent communication skills to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving growth targets and customer satisfaction.
Fluent in both English and French
