Meltwater is a leading global provider of media, social and consumer Intelligence software solutions. We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Marketing for our North American Area. In this role you will play a critical role in driving growth in our business by developing and executing innovative demand generation strategies across America and Canada. Your primary focus will be on building a high-quality sales pipeline that fuels revenue growth and further establishes Meltwater as a leader in the industry.  

As a key member of the Global Marketing Management and Americas leadership teams you will be responsible to align our global marketing strategy with our business objectives and take full responsibility for your team and budget. You will report directly to the VP of Global Demand Generation and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 

 

Your area of responsibility includes: 

  • Own the planning, execution and reporting of a targeted demand and lead generation strategy for our mid market and enterprise segments. This includes identifying target audiences, creating compelling messaging, and selecting appropriate marketing channels and tactics. 

  • Develop and execute ABM programs to attract and grow target accounts from our Enterprise segment. Leverage 6sense intent data to inform account based marketing campaigns and content creation for different personas in our key buying committees.  

  • Lead and inspire a team to deliver on high standards and ensure internal communication, alignment and a positive environment. Your leadership will contribute meaningfully to fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, development and collaboration. 

  • Drive pipeline growth. You will be accountable for delivering a consistent flow of high-quality opportunities to the sales team. This involves a data-driven approach to identify opportunities for optimization and employing best practices to maximize lead generation and conversion rates. Success will be measured through KPIs such as pipeline coverage, contribution to customer acquisition targets, as well as driving cross-sales and upsell opportunities. 

  • Develop a customer centric event strategy and work with the local team on the execution of internal events, conferences, trade shows, digital events & lunches. 

  • Own the email marketing and marketing automation for all marketing activities, including a tailored customer nurturing strategy for several segments, product releases and general communications. 

  • Collaborate with sales teams . You will work closely with the sales teams to understand their needs, align demand generation efforts with sales targets, and provide them with the necessary tools, resources and support to convert leads into customers. Collaboration will be essential to ensuring a seamless handoff between marketing and sales. 

 

What you’ll bring: 

  • 7+ years of professional experience in B2B Marketing 

  • Proven experience in demand generation for SaaS companies 

  • Experience Performance Marketing, Event Marketing & Email Marketing 

  • Experience with 6sense and other account based marketing technologies 

  • Strong understanding of Marketing Data & Analytics.  

  • Comfortable working with marketing automation tools, CRM systems to track, measure, and report on campaign performance. 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration  

  • Initiative, reliability and team spirit as well as a good sense of humor and creativity 

  

What we offer you: 

  • Competitive compensation - Base Salary range for this position: $160,000- 180,000 USD per year before bonuses. The company also offers for this position quarterly bonuses (20%) subject to the terms of the applicable bonus plan.
