Description

Meltwater is seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join our team and contribute to building a robust data infrastructure that supports revenue-focused initiatives. This role will report directly to the Senior Director of Revenue Operations, based in our London or Toronto office.
As an Analytics Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines to transform raw data into actionable insights. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement robust ETL processes. Additionally, you'll develop and maintain data models to support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines for processing and transforming raw data into actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement robust ETL processes.
  • Develop and maintain data models that support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting needs.
  • Optimize database structures for performance and scalability, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
  • Integrate data from various sources, including Salesforce, Marketo, and external APIs, to create a unified and comprehensive view of revenue-related data.
  • Implement real-time data integration solutions to support timely decision-making.
  • Establish and enforce data quality standards to ensure the accuracy and reliability of revenue data.
  • Implement data governance best practices to maintain data consistency and compliance.
  • Work closely with the team to understand data needs and provide well-structured datasets.
  • Support the implementation of data-driven models and algorithms in collaboration with Revenue Operations, FP&A, and Business Applications teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, and database management.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience using ETL and reverse ETL tools like Fivetran, Census, Hightouch, and DBT.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
