What We’re Looking For:
In this role, an established professional with enough prior work experience in software development to achieve full productivity within 1.5 months from onboarding. This engineer should also be passionate, creative, motivated, and knowledgeable with amazing communication skills to help drive conversations with Meltwater Product and Engineering teams while really listening to their needs.
What You'll Do:
In this role, you will be working to meet the functional and scalability requirements of our products. We offer total ownership of your team's products and your day-to-day will be jam-packed with opportunities to learn new technologies and grow as an engineer.
- 8+ yrs of strong hands-on experience in coding & debugging.
- Write code that your peers praise for its elegance and readability
- Design and implementation of backend systems.
- Collaboration with Senior developers.
- Be accountable for all aspects of your work, from research and analysis to testing and deployment in production as well as on-call rotation.
What You'll Bring:
- Strong hands-on experience in Architectural Design, Problem solving & Troubleshooting
- Collaborating with Junior & Lead Developer
- Helping junior developers in development & coding
- Strong foundation in distributed systems
- Parallel programming and Distributed Systems
- Streaming and reactive data processing
Preferred skills and experience:
- Experience with API integrations, both public and private, in a variety
of formats (REST, GraphQL, SDKs, etc.)
- Ability to acquire new skills rapidly and to get familiar with new technologies quickly.
- Good conversational English
